On Wednesday October 18th folk duo Megson will be re-united with playwright / actor Kieran Knowles and double bass player John Parker for a special showcase concert of their show – The Herald.

Watch four times BBC Radio 2 Folk Awards Nominees Megson have their music and stories brought to life as Knowles weaves his story throughout the evening. This story is one of an unnamed journalist who returns to his home town to work for his local paper and it looks at the courage it takes to investigate truths, the danger of reporting realities and the pressure we put upon stories.

Megson and Kieran will once again be joined by the phenomenal double bass player John Parker (Nizlopi) who adds another level to Megson’s already breathtaking music.
