Special edition Fair-Trade Megson shopping bags will available at most of their summer festivals. See them at Cambridge Folk Festival, Stokes Bay Festival, The Green Man Festival and Shrewsbury Folk Festival over the next few weeks.

Megson will be performing at the Birmingham Symphony Hall as part of its English Originals series on Sunday 17th May. The night will be headlined by Seth Lakeman and Nancy Elizabeth will also be performing see here for details.

Along with seven other world renown folk artists, Stu recently took part in the Darwin Song Project a songwriting retreat in Shropshire. A live performance of some of the songs will be broadcast on Radio 2 on the 8th March.

Megson’s latest album release, Take Yourself A Wife, is now available on a host of digital formats including I-Tunes. Click on the I-Tunes logo at the bottom of the page to browse Megson’s I-Tunes catalogue.

Megson’s track “O Mary Will You Go” features on a compilation of BBC Folk Award 2009 Nominees released by Proper Music Distribution. The double-CD album is out now in all good record shops.
