Description

Well we finally did it! After thirteen years of writing songs together as Megson, and after many requests, we have finally compiled ‘The Megson Songbook’.

The book spans the length of our songwriting partnership, from our very first song ‘Just Stay’ written in 2004 to the songs in our latest album ‘Good Times Will Come Again’.

There are 19 songs in total arranged for easy guitar chords and vocal.

We have tried to keep them as close as possible to the chords Stu uses. There is a chord chart included in the book for reference but please bear in mind that this a guide only. If you feel a different chord shape works best for you then go for it. Most songs will also work on the piano. However, the chords for the two songs with Capo positions marked will have to be transposed when playing on the piano.

We’ve tried to pick a selection of songs from all of our albums so far, especially those that continue to remain favourites in our live set. However, we’re sure that there will be some of your favourites missing from the book. Maybe if you badger us enough though we’ll do a Volume 2?!

Hope you enjoy singing them!
